PROJECT 10-20

“LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF”

First Christian Church volunteers time, money, and food to help with Project 1020, the cold weather homeless shelter in Johnson County.

Gifts sent to the Cold Weather Shelter

Because of your Christmas Memorial gifts, we were able to send $900 to help support the Cold Weather Shelter in Lenexa (Project 10-20). These gifts help support the essential work of providing a warm place to sleep for people who are without housing. For more information about how you can help, please go to their social media www.project1020.com or facebook page

WELCOME TO PROJECT 10❤️20!

Project 10 20 is Johnson County’s only shelter for adults who are experiencing homelessness. We provide transportation to and from the shelter, a hot evening meal, grab and go breakfast in the morning, safe place to sleep, care, compassion and support.

We believe in loving our neighbors. That means helping human beings to live with dignity and no matter their situation, people deserve to have the most basic needs of shelter and food.

We’re located at 9400 Pflumm, Lenexa, Ks 66215 on the south wing of Shawnee Mission Unitarian Universalist Church.  Hours are from 7 PM to 7 AM from December 1 through March 31.

Help us Love Our Neighbors!
